About Us

Casa Sapori ( HOME OF FLAVOURS ) was born with the idea of sharing authentic Mediterranean flavours to people that love food ;

being part of 4th generation fruit shop business Andrea’s passion for food started back in Italy where he was born and raised in a food lovers family ; his dad (Dante ) still currently goes to the local markets everyday to source the best produce and brings back the “al taglio “ pizza for breakfast while the mum ( Maria Rosa ) starts preparing soffritto at 7am for the coming “ Spezzatino “;

Andrea’s background also played an important role in his food know how;

born and raised in the historic center of Rome ( 200m from the Pantheon)  he spent all his childhood vacations between Sicily and Piemonte ( cannoli and Barolo 😅).

Andy’s connection with good food got stronger when he moved to Australia and he started tasting and enjoying multiple cuisines ;

despite he tried few good Italian restaurants he soon realised there was a lack of authentic Italian flavours, in particular a good Neapolitan style pizza 🍕 and melting mouth pork belly roast  🍖

Andrea then SET THE NEW PIZZA STANDARD making his own dough (hand stretched and fermented for 48 hours ) following his dad recipe (Saturday night home made pizza was a must in Andrea’s childhood ) ,bought a charcoal Kamado style oven to take the pork belly roast to the next level.

Since then Andrea and Katy’s home party have been very popular among their friends and every date has been sold out 😅;

Casa Sapori is a melting pot of experiences,nice people ,good food made with passion , wine 🍷 and everything in between and beyond ;
